Beyond the Cello
A musical and visual journey in which the cello moves across eras and languages, from the classical tradition to electronic, ambient and cinematic soundscapes.
The project
The cello, beyond the cello.
Beyond the Cello is a solo performance for acoustic and electric cello, electronic backing tracks and original projections. Music and images form a single narrative: the instrument retains its classical identity while becoming an emotional voice, a rhythmic element and electronic material.
